Hema Niranjan is an Interior Designer, columnist, and hotel owner who recently fulfilled her childhood dream by winning the title of Mrs. India 2022 in Mumbai. She also earned the Mrs. Exquisite subtitle at the prestigious Mrs. Universe 2023 pageant held in Bulgaria.
Hema Niranjan holds a Diploma in Education (D.Ed) and a Master’s degree in English Literature. She has also completed a degree in Interior Design from Jain University. Married at the age of 20, she has continuously upgraded her skills over the years. Interestingly, while her daughter Manvi was in school, Hema was simultaneously pursuing her interior design education.
In addition, she contributes as a columnist to the VK Properties section of Vijaya Karnataka newspaper, where she shares her knowledge and experience. She has established a strong identity in both interior design and writing.
Hema began her professional journey in 2014 with her first company, Dezign Code, as a partner. She now independently leads her own firm, Parvaa Concepts Atelier Private Limited. she completed over 800 projects across cities like Bangalore, Goa, Hyderabad, and Chennai. With extensive experience in themed projects, the firm now focuses exclusively on luxury residential and commercial interior design.
Her second venture, Hunger Camp, is a military-themed hotel co-founded by her, dedicated to honoring the brave soldiers of the nation—making it a unique and first-of-its-kind concept in India.
Among her achievements, IREA Women Leaders International Magazine recognized her as one of the Top 10 Inspiring Women Leaders of 2022. She was also honored with the prestigious Star of Karnataka award by News First Kannada, given to 20 successful entrepreneurs in the state. In 2025, she once again received the Star of Karnataka award, further strengthening her recognition as a leading entrepreneur. She was specially honored with the prestigious Mysuru Maharaja Award.
Her notable awards include the Nationwide Under 40 Promising Entrepreneur Award 2022 by Business Mint, the 100 Inspirational Women Award by ICAN Foundation, and the World Women Icon Award 2022 by Global Triumph.
Hema Niranjan has shared her insights on platforms like All India Radio and Doordarshan programs such as Shubhodaya Karnataka and O Sakhi. She has been invited as a chief guest at prestigious events including the Business Mint Business Awards, Global Pride Foundation Awards, and the Chiranthana Karnataka Mahila Sadhaki Award in Davanagere.
Additionally, she has served as a jury member in various competitions, walked the ramp as a showstopper at Indian Designer Week, and has had the honor of launching vehicles at multiple events.
She also runs the Hunger Camp NGO, which pays tribute to the sacrifices of the nation’s brave martyrs. Furthermore, she serves as the Vice President of the Rajalanchana organization.
